Los Angeles native Ronald Girgis and Canadian export Zaven Grigorian conceived the idea that would become Amp Rehearsal back in 1998. The idea was to create a state of the art, ultra clean rehearsal and recording studio that would be affordable for musicians of every stripe, coupled with impeccable service focusing on the needs of each and every band that would walk through Amp Rehearsal’s doors.

From conception to completion, the two partners were involved in every aspect of building, equipping, wiring and decorating the initial 9 studios that became the industry standard in high quality yet affordable hourly rehearsal and recording studios. Amp Rehearsal’s clientele includes superstars like Roger Daltry, The Black-eyed Peas, Good Charlotte and The Calling just to name a few, as well as a myriad of some of LA’s hottest up and comers.

With the completion of 8 additional rehearsal studios, a rental department, and a soon to be finished state of the art recording studio, which features an SSL900 console, Pro Tools HD3 system and some of the best outboard gear on the market, Amp Rehearsal will have achieved it’s goal in becoming a one stop shop for all aspiring and established artists.
